Former longtime resident of Warwick and Rhode Island College Alumni, Nichole Dingee Allinson (aka Nichole Donje’) has been invited by West Bay Collaboratives', Greg Rubano to produce and direct the finale performance of the 3 month literacy initiative, The Big Read RI. 

Nichole has assembled a powerful and dynamic team of Rhode Island and New York talent through her New York City based theater company TAPT - The Artists’ Playground Theatre to perform a full length production built around 3 commissioned dramatic works based on themes from Harper Lee’s, To Kill A Mockingbird. 

From the writers to the crew she has drawn award winning playwrights, diversity advocates, educators and artists. She has built this production and ensemble cast from NYC and will travel to perform in Providence.
